**Who we are**:
We are JAW Family, an independent Event Promoter and Booking Agency based in Berlin-Neukölln, organizing a wide range of music events since 2005 in cities like Paris or Berlin and proudly representing inspiring artists, in both DJ and live fields. Our principle ideology still stands true - promoting honest and inspiring music, regardless of the genre or format.

**Who we are looking for**:
A motivated and passionate intern
- based in Berlin
- for a duration of 3 months
- ideally starting from April 2023
- enrolled in a degree course of study at the time of the internship

**What we are offering**:

- A compensated part-time internship position (28 hours/week)
- An opportunity to learn about the inner workings of the music industry, from the perspectives of a booking agency and an event promoter
- Flexible tasks, depending on your profile, interests and commitment
- Concerts and club nights as part of your internship

**Tasks will include**:
Supporting our team in the following fields:

- Communication: website supervision and coordination, newsletter copywriting and editing, social media support, help develop new communication and social media strategies with our team, the artists, archive material & more
- Booking and Production: maintaining and updating databases, roster information and organizing materials for booking mailings, assist advancing tour dates and J.A.W events, liaise with artists, managers and promoters, help with travel and accommodation bookings
- Operational assistance on day of events (approximately once per month)
- General assistance in daily administration at the office

**Requirements**:

- A genuine interest in the music we support
- An open and curious mind
- Languages: English fluent mandatory, German strongly appreciated, French appreciated
- Previous experience in the music, communications or event fields strongly appreciated
- Organizational and multitasking skills, ability to work under pressure
- Basic knowledge of Photoshop and / or InDesign and other editing tools strongly appreciated
- Flexible with work times, mainly on day of events (approximately once per month, extra hours will be accounted for)
