We are looking for a Senior Accountant that will thrive in a fast-paced environment. The offered position is suitable for an experienced Accountant or for someone with an appropriate academic background who wants to develop in this direction.

**Responsibilities**:

- Participation in monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with the HGB and US GAAP accounting standards
- Financial accounting, PP&E accounting, management of bank accounts
- Participation in the preparation of the internal monthly reporting package
- Direct responsibility for the AP area including checking, accounting and booking of incoming invoices based on orders and inventory receipts in our ERP system;
- Processing, maintaining and reconciling inventory receipt and accounts payable accounts.
- Participation in variance analysis (target/actual comparisons) as well as cash flow analyses
- Working closely with cross-functional teams.

**Basic Qualifications**:

- Bachelor degree or equivalent with focus on finance and controlling and/or qualification as Bilanzbuchhalter (M/F/d),
- Excellent MS Office skills, especially MS Excel
- Fluency in English is a must, French and German language skills are a plus
- Familiarity with ERP systems
- Experience with local
- and international accounting standards and regulations
- Profound professional experience (minimum 5 years) in GL and AP
- Attention to detail
- Prioritization, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new circumstances
