**Position Summary**:
We are a small-medium consulting company based in **Munich, Germany**, looking to hire an engineer for the management and implementation of EU-funded research projects. Currently, our team is working on several research and innovation projects and seeking to further expand its workforce.

**Requirements**:

- You have successfully completed your studies in engineering, economics, or natural sciences, focus on sustainability, environmental protection and/or business administration will be preferred.
- Graduate degree (MSc or MBA) is strongly favored.
- Having experience in EU-funded research & innovation project management is considered essential.
- Excellent knowledge in written and spoken English.
- Ability to travel frequently.

**Your Tasks**:

- strategy and organization of processes, especially with regard to environmental and social standards as well as security of origin and the examination of complex supply chains. You will gain a wide range of insights into various industries, companies and teams and can put your project management skills to the test
- You will draft sustainability reports, development of sustainability reporting and sustainability management of our customers.
- A wide range of tasks awaits you, work on carbon management and carbon reporting to life cycle assessment, footprints and data analysis in the area of impact measurement to the planning and implementation of climate protection projects as part of nature-based solutions.
- To exploit innovative research results, evaluate economic data and detect market risks for new products and services. This includes to work on technoeconomic and financial analyses.
- To examine process development problems with the use of decision-support models
- To represent the company in meetings, as well as in trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences, meeting etc.

**Skills needed for the position**:

- You should have at least 3-5 years of professional experience in reviewing sustainability reports and financial information or in the field of climate protection project development.
- It is essential you have experience in data-focused consulting, modeling as well as excellent process optimization oriented skills.
- Excellent understanding of industrial and process operations; especially, in the fields of biomass, renewables, recycling and residual flows (e.g., municipal wastes) valorization.
- Experience in the field of the environmental, social and governance impact analyzes or value chains. It is pivotal to have a sound understanding of standards, rules and regulations governing projects and methods for reducing GHG emissions.
- Experience in the development of Decision Support Tools and the use of optimization environments (e.g. GAMS). Data-focused consulting, modeling and conceptual work as well as excellent analytical/solution-oriented skills.
- Excellent understanding of new, cutting-edge technologies in the field of materials, energy, environment, and agro-food.
- Excellent communication skills, team building, problem solving capabilities and management skills.
- Well-organized, with strong project management skills and the ability to work on deadlines.
- Honesty and self-driven work ethics.Excellent presentation skills. Negotiation skills.
