TUI Group is the world’s number one integrated tourism business. The Global Flight Marketplace within the TUI Group provides all own airline and 3rd party flights including flight products and ancillaries for own and secondary distribution B2C and B2B on a single platform. The Portfolio, Product and Ancillaries Team within the Global Flight Marketplace is a global team responsible for the business decisions around the global flight portfolio, flight product and ancillaries. We are a multi-disciplinary team of experts across Flight Sourcing, Flight Ancillaries and Product managers and providing services across nearly all TUI markets.

Our goal is to have the largest and most profitable flight portfolio enriched with the best flight products and ancillaries for maximisation of customers value.

For this environment we are looking for a talented and dedicated Business Product Owner to join the newly formed international team. The Business Product Owner, will own flight services within the largest flight production platform worldwide.

Our Business Product Owners will define product visions, input into ideation, define and manage roadmaps and backlogs and are a positive force in their Product team delivering new features for the flight portfolio, product and ancillaries of the TUI Group.

**ABOUT THE JOB**

The BPOs will be the connecting piece between holiday product and IT platform product responsibles. Your key areas of responsibility and accountability will be:
**Stakeholder management**
- Generate good relationships with stakeholders in Business and IT areas across the TUI Group, building trusted working relationships
- Support holiday product and market responsibles in finding common solutions for their businesses considering the benefits and potential of alignment
- Create informative demos to bring the features to life for stakeholders and the team
- Provide regular updates to Market teams, ensuring that deliveries across the product team are showcased and future feature prioritization is understood.
- Produce regular updates on development progress, KPI performance, and communication for governance meetings.

**Product Backlog**
- Contribute towards the success of your product
- Define, develop and prioritize the product backlog
- Ensure that all product Epics and features have a clear line of sight to business value and are prioritized to deliver maximum commercial benefit from development time
- Ensure that product dependencies on other products across TUI are understood and briefed to relevant interfaces
- Translate high-level product roadmap into achievable product backlog items
- Ensure you have a clear prioritized backlog and roadmap which will increase engagement, conversion and other KPI’s.
- In collaboration with the whole team compose & validate User Epics, User Stories & Acceptance Criteria to a high standard before releasing

**Product Vision and Roadmap**
- Contribute to the product, vision and strategy using stimulus such as customer needs, stakeholder needs and external best practices
- Understand business & customer needs (from all markets)

**Deliver enhancements & new features**
- Drive feature delivery with product teams
- Work with QA, test & release teams to ensure all features are of the highest quality and timely.
- Learn and implement best practice approach to product ownership
- Ensure TUI’s product backlog maintains a healthy balance between new and innovative capabilities with market onboarding and optimization.

**Monitor and drive KPI business performance**
- Help to define (monitor & drive) high level product KPIs
- Work with digital analysts and optimization & insights and take personal ownership of relevant KPIs and ensure that all developments are aligned to drive performance and have clear metrics, tracking mechanisms and targets.

**Consultancy**
- Support any Stakeholder by evaluating feasibility of new products, ideas or processes

**ABOUT YOU**
- Experience in the tourism industry, understanding of flight products and processes is desirable
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills is a must
- You are motivating people and amplify hands-on-mentality
- Good commercial and decision making skills, able to input into ideation and roadmaps
- Exceptional capability of understanding complex system architectures in an international context
- You are able to translate high level business requirements into business solutions and to work with technology teams to clarify solutions at a detailed level and validate designs
- An understanding of agile, and able to manage a product backlog
- Able to positively engage with stakeholders and their Product team
- Able to contribute to making clear and well-thought recommendations to influence or take d
