The Global Flight Market Place is responsible for all non-risk 3rd party airline commercial activities within the TUI Group globally.
Global Commercial Management Flight Only has full responsibility in terms of strategy, planning, product & profitability for all Flight Only business that TUI does worldwide as a Flight Consolidator (B2B) and Flight OTA (B2C). In addition, the role contains ownership of the Flight Only product on TUIfly and all allotment capacities in Germany and Austria.

**ABOUT THE JOB**
- Take care of the international teams for flight only in the area of consolidator and flight OTA units in order to focus, promote and deliver growth in this business and deliver profitability
- Develop and implement the strategy and operational set-up for the business
- Drive profitability measures on margin/revenue
- and cost-side
- Internationalize and grow business on common platform
- Drive product measures to push sales on TUIfly and allotments for Germany & Austria
- Prepare and hold presentations, e.g. in Group Executive Committee or Markets Board
- Communicate business success internally within TUI in all markets in order to make business progress transparent and to get the buy-in from stakeholders where needed
- Define and guide KPIs and analytical needs for the Flight Only business to optimize decision making and enable right product set-up in the markets
- Watch market trends closely and derive strategic and operational competitive counter-measures, e.g. for further growth opportunities for Flight Consolidator and OTA
- Develop business cases that help prioritizing business value when opportunities identified
- Steer projects on international level

**ABOUT YOU**
- More than 3 years of experience in the travel industry
- Proven Online Sales Expertise, plus ideally familiar with B2B (agency/retail market) distribution
- Several years experience in leadership roles
- Intercultural experiences proven
- Strong decision maker, with ability to think commercially and strategically
- Strong drive to deliver results and will to take full P&L responsibility
- Excellent Knowledge of the Commercial Airline and Flight Only market, added by good KnowHow in Product Management and Yielding
- Online sales expertise strongly helpful
- Solid background of relevant IT infrastructure, e.g. Amadeus, NewSkies, TF-Systems, AirCruiser, AirQuest, desired
- An exceptional and proven leader with experience of driving and delivering change and/or improvements across business areas, with good inter-personal skills and able to quickly adapt to changes in priority
- Excellent communicator, both verbal and written, with strong presentation skills
- Very broad understanding of the TUI business model and processes within at least one region/market(s) - experience across multiple markets desirable
- The role requires strong business English (written & spoken). Other local language skills are preferable (e.g. German).
