People and Organisation Practice Area Coordinator

**WHAT YOU'LL DO**:
As a Practice Area Coordinator (PAC) within BCG’s People and Organization Practice Area (PA) you will execute and coordinate business operational support for POP tasks both regionally and globally. Working with PA Manager, Regional Managers and Practice Area Leadership, you will coordinate operational activities such as meeting organization, budgets / business reporting and marketing and communication efforts. You will also coordinate people affiliation and development activities as well as the organization and execution of internal practice meetings and trainings while acting as a point of contact for POP members across the PA.

You will independently coordinate the plan and preparation of PA meetings, seeking guidance as needed, from invitation management through to agenda coordination, tracking and logístical support as well as expense and budget management meetings. You will also support global people related initiatives and effectively advise POP leadership on affiliation recruiting, retention, and pipeline planning. You will create and implement programs designed to increase internal awareness of the practice to drive greater affiliation. You will support annual, monthly and ad-hoc business reporting tasks, including budgeting, financial analysis and financial controlling. You will help to implement selected global initiatives with GPMD and POP leadership.

**YOU'RE GOOD AT**:

- Executing defined tasks independently, seeking guidance as needed
- Thinking proactively with a forward-thinking attitude bringing excellent organisation skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Acting as the practice representative in the PA community, building your network with other PACs and Marketing Coordinators, learning from best practices
- Planning and coordinating regional and global meetings with precision and attention to detail
- Solving problems with a forward-thinking mindset and suggesting workarounds
- Developing judgement, starting to contribute beyond the PA, thinking analytically through alternatives

**YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)**:

- 2-4+ years relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Demonstrated independence and autonomy in internal/external interactions
- Ability to execute defined tasks that require independent judgment, based on processes/policies
- Strong organizational and planning skills - high attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to think analytically, adopting out of the box thinking
- Professional, service oriented, pro-active and flexible attitude, Able to tolerate ambiguity and transform ideas into workable solutions
- Ability to perform under pressure and demonstrate presence and maturity even in stressful situations
- Proficiency in Outlook, Trello and Slack and advanced level PowerPoint and Excel

**YOU'LL WORK WITH**:
You will coordinate closely with Regional PA Leaders and Regional Managers, the Global Practice Management Director, sector/topic Managers as well as the Business Services team, alongside Practice Area Coordinators both within the practice and across others.

**ADDITIONAL INFORMATION**:
Practice Area Management & Operations team members keep BCG’s industry and functional practice areas operating responsively and efficiently.
