At the Institute of Radiopharmaceutical Cancer Research scientists (f/m/d) from the fields of physics, chemistry, biology, pharmacy, immunology, medicine and IT develop innovative radiopharmaceuticals and novel tools for functional characterization, improved imaging and personalized treatment of tumors.

**Your tasks**:

- Generation and characterization of adapter CAR-expressing human T cells
- Design, generation and characterization of targeting molecules for redirection of adapter CAR T cells to tumor cells
- Testing the functionality and efficiency of the novel targeting molecules and adapter CAR T cell systems using 2D and 3D spheroid models in vitro and/or in mouse models

**Your profile**:

- Completed university studies (Master/Diploma) in the field of Biology, Biotechnology, (Bio-) Chemistry or equivalent (e.g. must have completed their medical studies) or related field
- Solid knowledge of immunology and/or protein biochemistry
- Good skills/experience in molecular biology, protein biochemistry, generation of recombinant proteins, working with cell cultures, flow cytometry and mouse models
- Be fascinated by scientific research and innovation, be motivated, enthusiastic and eager to learn, be able to work methodically and accurately, be able to work independently yet also being a team player, have a creative mind and strong problem-solving skills and have a good writing and oral expression
- Speak and write fluently in English
