**Making an Impact**

The position: Director, Global Professional Services, Carrier Connections - EMEA (M/F/D)

(Location: Frankfurt, Germany - Hybrid)

**What you’ll do**
- Provide leadership to the Elemica Program/Project Managers and manage allocation of Elemica resources/programs
- Manage day-to-day program/project execution and own the responsibility to deliver projects under the committed timelines, cost and revenue targets
- Responsible for the commercial success and the cost of service delivery
- Ensure the program/project managers reporting to him/ her have the skills and knowledge on the products and solutions within the vertical
- Manage resource capacity against utilization targets, and perform program/project management assignments
- Support cross-training to increase skills of program/project managers and technical experts implementing the programs/projects
- Responsible for the identification and enhancement of professional services revenue (in combination with sales staff)
- Assist in project activities and act as a Program or Project Manager when necessary
- Assist in resolving critical project issues and act as an escalation path for urgent production issues
- Act as an interface with product management for new requirements
- Participate, as required, in director meetings

**What we’re looking for**
- Degree in computer science or equivalent IT experience or equivalent in a supply chain management discipline
- 6-10 years project delivery experience or management of large projects as a Senior Project or Program Manager preferably in supply chain management or logistics environments
- Work history that demonstrates strong interpersonal, organizational, presentation and communication skills (written & verbal)
- Experience in managing high complexity technology solutions programs, in areas of supplier or customer integration and connectivity
- Experience in business process improvements and experience in project management methodology
- Experience in managing international professional services teams as well as other project stakeholders
- Experience with use of Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) and ERP, SAP in particular
- Working knowledge of B2B messaging standards i.e. EDIFACT, VDA, X12, IDOCs, XML, xCBL, etc. and mapping tools is a plus
- Exposure to security and networking issues and technologies inherent in the use of the Internet in B2B solutions
- Ability to handle stressful situations with perseverance and professionalism
- Strong history and track record of completing quality projects on time, as well as a proven track record in coaching and mentoring others to success
- Expert problem solving skills
- Ability to multi-task efficiently
- Experience in multicultural teams
- Fluency in English and another major European language
