**A Snapshot of Your Day**

As a Project Lead for HVDC Control & Protection Hardware you will work within a team of HVDC project management and engineering specialists to design and deliver full HVDC control and protection solutions for both wind farm grid connections and interconnectors making use of a transient network analysis. You will report to the Sub-PM HVDC C&P and the CP organization and will be required to provide engineering work packages in line with project and business objectives.

**How You’ll Make an Impact**
**(limited to 18 months to 2 years)**
- You are responsible for preparing offers and project management for the hardware of control technology and protection systems (Control & Protection) for high-voltage direct current transmission systems (HVDC) regarding deadlines, costs, and quality
- You will oversee the technical management of the C&P Hardware offer / order processing team and will coordinate closely with the project management and the technical experts from various hardware engineering areas
- Your responsibility includes planning, monitoring, and controlling the offer / order processing including technical conception, delimitation of the scope of delivery, scheduling / resource planning, costing, costing, quality control and management of opportunities and risks
- Your are responsible for subcontracting
- Your tasks also include reporting, information management, revision, and order completion as well as the implementation of process and design review

**What You Bring**.
- You have successfully completed a university degree in electrical engineering, electrical power engineering or a comparable degree with a standard duration of > 4 years
- You have several years of professional experience as well as experience in project management
- Ideally, you have intercultural experience and are willing to go on business trips (customer clarification, IBS support)
- You can technically navigate and converse in the areas of converter technology, high voltage technology and control technology
- Ideally, you can demonstrate knowledge of HVDC technology and systems engineering
- You communicate fluently in English and preferably in German
