Das Deutsche Krebsforschungszentrum (DKFZ) ermöglicht den Zugang zu modernsten Forschungstechnologien und eine Zusammenarbeit mit erfahrenen Wissenschaftler:innen. Das DKFZ und die Urologische Klinik am Universitätsklinikum Heidelberg haben die Klinische Kooperationseinheit "Multiparametrische Methoden zur Früherkennung des Prostatakarzinoms" (Abteilungsleitung: PD Dr. Magdalena Görtz) etabliert. In enger Zusammenarbeit mit der Abteilung "Krebsgenomforschung" am DKFZ, der Urologischen Universitätsklinik Heidelberg und dem NCT betreiben wir klinische und translationale Forschung zur Früherkennung und Risikostratifizierung urologischer Tumoren mit dem Schwerpunkt Prostatakarzinom durch den Einsatz von Biomaterialien und klinischen Daten.
Es erwartet Sie ein interdisziplinäres Arbeitsumfeld mit etablierter Methodik und zielgerichteten Fragestellungen. Außerdem stehen Ihnen eine umfangreiche, sorgfältig gepflegte Patientendatenbank mit Biomaterialien (Plasma / Urin / Gewebe) und die Supporteinrichtungen des DKFZ zur Verfügung. Die Arbeitsgruppe besteht aus einem kollegialen und hochmotivierten Team, das eine gute Einarbeitung und Unterstützung (u. a. technische Assistenz, Statistik, Bioinformatik) bietet.
**Ihre Aufgaben**:
- Analyse von Liquid-Biopsy-Proben (Blut, Urin) zur Identifizierung metabolischer Marker für die Risikostratifizierung und Früherkennung von Prostatakrebs
- NGS-Analyse von Blut-, Urin
- und Gewebeproben zur Detektion urologischer Tumore
- Analyse und Auswertung klinischer Forschungsdaten
- Verfassen von wissenschaftlichen Publikationen
- Eigenständiges wissenschaftliches Arbeiten und Einbringen eigener Ideen
- Mitarbeit bei der Einwerbung von Drittmitteln und Gestaltung von Forschungsanträgen
- Enge Zusammenarbeit mit multidisziplinären Teams am DKFZ und der Urologischen Universitätsklinik Heidelberg
**Ihr Profil**:
- Abgeschlossenes Medizinstudium mit Interesse im Bereich Onkologie und Urologie
- Approbation für Medizin mit begonnener oder abgeschlossener Facharztausbildung in Onkologie oder Urologie
- Hohe Motivation, Neugier und der Wunsch, die eigene wissenschaftliche Karriere voranzutreiben
- Erfahrung in der Publikation wissenschaftlicher Arbeiten und der Wunsch, die eigene Publikationstätigkeit zu intensivieren
- Fähigkeit zur unabhängigen Arbeit in einem interdisziplinären Umfeld
- Gute Kommunikationsfähigkeiten in Deutsch und Englisch
