Tactical Buyer (M/F/d)
General Responsibilities
- Procurement of direct and indirect materials
- Executes the daily procurement activities to ensure deliveries on-time, with a high-quality level
- Coordinate’s supplier deliveries to the agreed schedule, issue resolution, expediting of late deliveries
- Responsible for inventory optimization, utilizing analysis regarding slow moving/non-moving, excessive stock items, and items low in stock
- Timely invoice resolutions to ensure timely supplier payments
- Work with Operations, R&D and other departments as needed
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s or master’s Degree
- Ability to prioritize tasks and have effective time management and analytical skills.
- Flexible and comfortable in a rapidly changing organization
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Attention to detail to ensure all purchase orders are accurate
- Knowledge of BPCS and Felios System is preferred
- Fluent German and English Language skills
