**Sustainability Expert for Transport & Logistics Council (M/F/d) - 100% Remote**

**Your daily tasks**:

- Strategy Development and Implementation:_
- Formulate and implement strategies to enhance the sustainable transformation of the technology industry in line with EU Green Deal, incorporating European sustainability standards such as ESRS, CSRD and EU GBC.
- Execute strategies aimed at transforming the technology industry into environmentally sustainable structures, aligning with globally recognized benchmarks such as LEED BREEAM and equivalent European standards.
- Sustainability Assessments:_
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of current practices to identify areas for improvement and enhance sustainability performance in the Transport & Logistics sector.
- Monitor and analyze KPIs related to sustainability metrics for industries in the Transport & Logistics.
- Collaboration and Integration:_
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, architects, and facility managers, to integrate sustainability principles into industry design, construction, and operations.
- Work with external partners, suppliers, and certification bodies to advance sustainability goals and certifications in the Transport & Logistics sector.
- Reporting and Compliance:_
- Lead the preparation and submission of sustainability reports, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Stay updated on emerging trends, best practices, and regulations in sustainability reporting and green building initiatives for industries in the Transport & Logistics.
- Industry Engagement:_
- Attend webinars and participate in discussions with industry experts within the Transport & Logistics.
- Contribute insights and participate in the creation of publications, including White Papers, Position Papers, and Sector Papers.
- Event Moderation and Presentation:_
- Moderate events and webinars, ensuring smooth operation and engagement.
- Provide expert presentations on sustainability topics at webinars, and other events.
- Consultancy Services:_
- Offer consultancy services to internal and external stakeholders on sustainability initiatives and practices in the Transport & Logistics sector.
- Webinar Organization:_
- Finalize webinar topics and agendas, ensuring relevance and impact.
- Suggest and coordinate with potential speakers for webinars and events.
- ESG Expertise:_
- Develop and implement Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategies in line with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct ESG assessments and audits to identify risks and opportunities.
- Monitor and report on ESG performance, ensuring transparency and compliance with relevant frameworks and standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate ESG considerations into business operations and decision-making processes in the Transport & Logistics sector.

**What we are looking for**:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sustainability /Environmental studies.

Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in sustainability reporting within Transport & Logistics industry.

In-depth knowledge of European sustainability standards and frameworks such as ESRS, CSRD, EU GBC, LEED, or BREEAM. Expertise in ESG strategies and reporting.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex data and identify opportunities for improvement.

Effective communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Certification in sustainability or Transport & Logistics sector is advantageous.
