In 2023 CDP underwent a complete digital transformation, seeing us transition the annual disclosure cycle from a paper-based, human-intensive and vendor-dependent stack, to a completely in-house developed, modernised and scalable product that will revolutionise the customer-experience for both external and internal users. We also went from a regionally-focused organisation to a truly global structure that has given rise to scalability, enhanced effectiveness and modernisation. A new role in the People team to help drive this is the Data & Analytics Specialist, which will be responsible for owning and managing global people data and analytics, including:
- Creating and delivering dashboards and analytics tools to the global HR team (Shared Services and BPs)
- Provides regular analysis and reporting to HR leadership, ELT and Board
- Manages projects with a high reporting component e.g. reward projects supporting data needs of Director Reward, analysis and reporting of employee survey results with Internal Comms Lead, gender pay gap reporting with Director Strategy and Planning and DEI Lead.
**The role includes**:
- Create report templates on the system and offline for HR Shared services and HR Business partners
- Delivering regular reports to Finance team to support accurate forecasting and management reports
- Delivering people reporting to the Trustee Board, ELT and HR leadership
- Providing analysis to inform people related decision making
- Working with partners across the team to deliver projects such as GPG reporting, Employee survey, reward projects
- Advising Business Partners, and HR Directors on data and analysis including management of escalated issues
- Contributing to global HR team discussions and working groups to ensure data and analysis is integrated across HR workstreams.
**You bring**:
- Previous experience developing reports and dashboards for a wide range of stakeholders, including senior leaders
- Ability to collaborate to understand requirements and lead the delivery of end-to-end data projects across a global cross-cultural environment
- Ability to analyse data and present it in clear and compelling ways for different audiences across CDP
- Excellent relationship building skills, including the ability to influence whilst being empathetic to stakeholder needs
- A sense of curiosity and autonomy to take initiative and drive deeper insights and actions
- Previous experience or a strong desire to work with people data preferred
- Exposure to HR topics, including workforce planning, remuneration, recruiting and engagement beneficial
- Advanced Excel skills (advanced formulas to analyse data, conditional formatting, data validation, and pivot tables, data visualisation)
- High familiarity with Microsoft Suite
- Experience with HR tools beneficial
