We are looking for an AR Accounting Specialist that will thrive in a fast-paced environment. The offered position is either suitable for an experienced Accountant or for someone with an appropriate academic background or vocational qualification who wants to develop in this direction.

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitoring credit limits, assessing creditworthiness and implementing effective credit control measures to minimize outstanding receivables
- Following up on overdue accounts, and collaborating with stakeholders to resolve payment issues
- Reporting on accounts receivable aging, intercompany balances and other relevant financial metrics.
- Participation in variance analysis (target/actual comparisons) as well as cash flow analyses
- Working closely with cross-functional teams.

**Basic Qualifications**:

- German vocational qualification with certification as Finanzbuchhalter (M/F/d) Bilanzbuchhalter (M/F/d) or Steuerfachwirt (M/F/d), or with Bachelor degree or equivalent with focus on finance and controlling
- Excellent MS Office skills, especially MS Excel
- Fluency in English is a must, French and German language skills are a plus
- Familiarity with ERP systems
- Experience with local
- and international accounting standards and regulations
- Profound professional experience (minimum 5 years) in GL and AP
- Attention to detail
- Prioritization, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new circumstances
