**The role**

Reporting to the Head of Compensation & Benefits this role will manage the C&B agenda in Germany for non-CMG employees. The role holder will be responsible for the operation and administration of the local C&B strategy for Germany in line with global IB C&B guidelines.

Compensation for non-CMG
- Own the Compensation approach for non-CMG employees, manage applicable Benchmarks and Insights
- Monitor appropriate Compensation for non-CMG employees in line with IB global policies and German regulation Pension Plans and Early Retirements
- Support the Head of C&B for annual financial reports according to German-GAAP and IFRS. (Data transfer, reporting, calculations)
- Status information for employees about individual pension entitlements
- Pension rights adjustments
- Employee consultation in all aspects of retirement benefits including state pension scheme
- Deferred Compensation Scheme
- Hamburger Pensionskasse (HPK)
- Direct Insurance

**Benefits**:

- Manage the local Benefits Portfolio
- Ensure proper communication and appropriate scope of local Benefits

Social Plans / Termination Agreements
- Support Head of C&B with calculation of all costs and provision for non-CMG employees (considering IFRS, German GAAP and Tax law)
- Preparation documents for redundancies/early retirements for non-CMG employees
- Ensure compliance and correctness of termination agreements for non-CMG employees

Share Schemes
- Sharesave, Share Matching Scheme, LTIP (invitation, maturity, taxation)
- Consulting of employees
- Cooperation with different Providers (Computershare, Equiniti)
- Annual Share Status Statements to ensure tax compliance

**Education/ Qualification**
- A relevant University/master’s degree

**Knowledge**:

- Significant experience and skills in pension schemes and compensation
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) as well as strong influencing and presentation skills
- Effective at organizing and delivering projects
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to learn quickly, acquire new skills and solve problems with a solution orientated approach
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong IT skills (e.g., MS Office) plus the ability to learn new IT systems /outstanding Excel skills
- Fluency in English (both written and verbal)
- Corporate experience
