As a Research Scientist, you will design, execute, and optimize chemical processes, playing a key role in the discovery, scale-up, and technology transfer of carbohydrate
- and lipid-based innovations.

- Developing and optimizing chemical technologies from mg to kg scale;
- Communicating technological developments with the Head of Chemistry;
- Interpreting experimental data, present results in team and contribute to project strategy planning;
- Supporting biocatalytic processes in kg-lab;
- Supporting purification/isolation methodologies;
- Maintenance of in-house kg-lab equipment.

**Qualifications**
- Having a PhD degree or having a MSc degree and 3+ years of work experience as synthetic chemist;
- Experienced in synthetic organic chemistry, preferably in carbohydrate/lipid chemistry;
- Experience in optimization and scale-up activities of chemical reactions in kg-lab environments is a plus;
- Experienced in chemical technology developments;
- Fluent in English;
- Good working knowledge of MS Office.
