at the Kia Europe Headquarters in Frankfurt/Main, Germany.
**Job mission**:
As a Warranty Specialist at Kia Europe, you play a crucial role in managing warranty issues to ensure the reliability and quality of Kia vehicles. Your responsibilities include addressing claims, coordinating with technical teams, and contributing to policy development. By analyzing warranty data, you proactively identify and resolve issues, directly impacting customer trust and contributing to Kia's continuous improvement in the European market.
**Your responsibilities**:
- Collaborate closely with team members to oversee warranty tasks across 38 European markets.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of warranty strategies and policies for Europe.
- Analyze and manage warranty data on a monthly basis, ensuring accuracy and proper reporting.
- Provide daily support to subsidiaries and distributors in handling warranty cases, including claim processing and technical guidance.
- Ensure that warranty claims align with Kia's technical and policy standards.
- Identify trends in claims to anticipate and address issues proactively.
- Conduct warranty audits based on data analysis and performance indicators.
- Participate in surveys related to warranty operations.
- Contribute to the review and creation of technical guidelines to improve product and repair quality.
- Prepare materials for updates and training related to warranty.
**Your talents**:
- Technical / Engineering university degree or similar. Relevant technical experience in automotive industry preferable.
- 1-2 years of experience in technical or warranty services, preferably in the automotive sector.
- Knowledge of car diagnostics and repair.
- Interest in new car technologies, including electric vehicles.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in the automotive industry is a plus.
- Good interpersonal skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Team player with hands-on-mentality and an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Self-motivated with excellent communication skills, and willingness to travel (20%).
- Quick learner, adaptable, problem-solver, and focused on results.
- Familiarity with working with Asian cultures/companies is a plus.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English (required). Knowledge of German and additional languages is a plus.
