**Requirements and responsibilities include**:

- Accuracy, independence and initiative are essential: You have a strong eye for detail and take notice when something is not quite right.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills: You will take responsibility for the course planning and work closely with language educators and the directors of the school to ensure the smooth operation of our German language program.
- High level of customer and service orientation: You will support our new and existing customers along their customer journey, drawing key motivational drivers from their success and happiness.
- Excellent people skills: The proposed hire must be able to communicate effectively with customers, teachers and other staff and must be able to problem-solve quickly and efficiently.
- Ability to work independently and as a reliable team player with a pragmatic mindset and a sense of humor
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills: Being the link between customers, teachers and other staff, the Coordinator will profit from an excellent ability to prioritize work in an environment with multiple and conflicting interests.
- Affinity to digital communication, excellent computer skills; passion for implementation and adaptation of new technologies: We’re an online school, and we communicate with interested learners on various platforms.
- Native or near native fluency in English, both spoken and written. German and / or additional languages would be an advantage.
- Growth mindset: We are looking for a motivated colleague who would be keen to grow with the company.

**Framework**:
Scope: 100% in flexible hours (circa 42 hours per week)
Location: Remote, though occasional in-person meetings may be required
Start date: July 2023

**About us**:LALIA-Berlin is a language school offering high-quality language instruction, established in 2018. It was founded by two PhD graduates of the German Studies department at Stanford University, aiming to give students at all levels the tools to create with the language, rather than memorize its rules. Since its opening, the school has been running hundreds of courses at all levels of German language. We offer a friendly and dynamic work environment, with passionate colleagues and instructors.
