**the nanosciences and biosciences, the Enlightenment, as well as in social and cultural research. The**

**Germany. The university has excellent national and international ties, and works closely together with**

**leading research institutes, industry, and more than 250 universities around the world.**

**The Martin Luther University, Institute of Biology, Geobotany and Botanical Garden, Plant Ecology lab,**

**limited for 3 years**

**Research Associate (m-f-d)**

as part-time employment (65 %).

The salary will be up to 13 TV-L, if the personal requirements and tasks are fulfilled.

**Tasks**:

- Conducting field and lab work to collect plant and pollinator data of an in Germany endangered grassland

plant species (_Primula veris_)
- ation sequencing
- Investigating population dynamics of the insect-pollinated grassland plant
- Conducting pollinator observations and potentially assisting experts in pollen metabarcoding analyses and

compiling plant-pollinator-networks
- Writing scientific publications and interacting with landowners and stakeholders
- Qualification goal: PhD

**Requirements**:

- University degree [M.Sc. or equivalent scientific degree in a project-related field (e.g. population ecology,

molecular ecology, landscape genetics)]
- Very good quantitative and statistical skills in R are essential
- Expertise and experience in landscape genetics and command-based bioinformatic analyses

- Flexible, well organized, and proactive team player
- Enthusiasm for working in international teams
- Profound English communication skills (written and spoken)
- Expertise in pollinator insects of Central Europe is advantageous
- Motivated to combine field and lab approaches
- Knowledge of German is advantageous
