**Policy Advisor - Food Security and Agriculture**:
**in**Berlin**:

- The position is to be filled as soon as possible, with a contract duration of two years. Employment location will be Berlin, Germany.
- As Policy Advisor - Food Security and Agriculture, you will implement Welthungerhilfe's lobbying and advocacy projects with the aim of improving the quality of German and international development policy on food and nutrition security and increasing public funding for these purposes.

**Your responsibilities**:

- National and international advocacy work on development policy, agriculture, nutrition, food security, climate policy, development financing
- Developing development policy positions in the above-mentioned areas and representing these positions to national and international political decision-makers, the private sector, civil society and the public
- Supporting the development policy dialog with representatives from politics, business, academia, civil society and the media
- Providing background information and drafting texts for correspondence, preparing speeches and publications
- Collaboration in the conception and further development of lobbying and advocacy measures, including preparation and implementation of conferences, expert discussions, etc.

**Your profile**:
- A university or college degree in a relevant field (policy, agriculture, nutrition, etc.) Experience in project management- Experience in policy and advocacy work at national and international level (EU, UN)- Experience in the preparation of complex and overarching analyses and concepts in the field of development cooperation- Experience in the financial management of third-party funded projects- Representation experience vis-à-vis representatives from politics, business, civil society, science, media at national and international level- Experience in strategy development and implementation- Fluency in written and spoken German and English, knowledge of French is an advantage
