**About the Role**

We are offering a unique opportunity for a talented and curious business attorney to work at the forefront of the most interesting legal matters in a truly international high-tech environment.

The NXP Legal Department environment is fast-paced, challenging, and collaborative. This role is for a self-motivated and highly-skilled, senior commercial attorney within the Commercial Legal Support team and will provide global legal support primarily for customer-facing matters, including sales contracts and software licensing, with responsibility to independently negotiate complex commercial transactions, advise clients and solve business problems.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Independently drive contract negotiations and draft commercial agreements with customers and suppliers.
- Provide legal advice to business partners on a wide range of legal issues, including software licensing, product sales and purchasing.
- Provide legal guidance and support to internal stakeholders regarding development and implementation of strategies for software licensing.
- Enable business partners to accomplish business goals, while minimizing risk for NXP.
- Collaborate with co-workers within the Legal Department and across the company globally.
- This is a hybrid position - minimum 3 days per week in the office/ maximum 2 days remote.
- Occasional travel.

**Experience needed**
- Fully qualified lawyer with Law degree from an accredited university.
- 5-10 years of related experience in a law firm or in-house legal department of global corporation.
- Experience managing complex commercial transactions, including product sales agreements and purchasing contracts.
- Extensive experience negotiating and drafting software license agreements.
- Experience leading contract negotiations with parties across multiple jurisdictions.
- Experience in-house with an automotive OEM or tier 1 automotive supplier considered a plus.

- Fluency in spoken and written English.
