**Job Description**:
Business Area Wind is responsible for Vattenfall’s Onshore and Offshore Wind as well as other non-hydro Renewable activities. Today we develop, construct and operate wind generation in Sweden, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands and the UK.

Within BA Wind’s BU Onshore, Wind Resource is part of the Market and Site Development team and amongst others responsible for delivering wind data for various objectives, having a thorough understanding of the wind flow and designing the layout of the wind farm. We are currently looking for a Wind Resource project support to join our team.
**Your job as a Wind Resource project support**:
As Wind Resource project support you will support the rest of the team in our day to day work, which includes wind data gathering, data analyses, site appraisal and loss calculations, which eventually leads to an optimal site layout and annual energy production estimation. In addition you will be involved in our day to day measurements, which includes supporting the team in designing measurements campaigns, analysis of our measurement data and taking action in case of errors.
Summarized, your job will be:
- Support the team in our day to day work in both the Wind Resource analysis area as well as the Measurement campaign area, which includes:
- Analyze constraints for every specific site, in order to define the optimal lay-out of WTGs and WTG selection
- Perform Production Assessments including curtailments
- Provide support in Power Curve Verification
- Combine technical requirements, practical limitations and financial opportunities into an optimized site layout
- Work together with the rest of the team in optimizing our operation work
- Analyze and improve our way of working by designing best practices from various angles of expertise
**Qualifications**:
**Your profile as a senior Wind Resource analyst**:
- You have a (finished or still studying) University degree or in Engineering/Physics/Meteorology or equivalent
- You have an interest in renewable energy in general, and wind energy in particular
- You have a basic understanding of the cycle of wind projects and the wind industry
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with large datasets
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
- Fluent in English, verbal and written
