About the department
StormGeo's Fleet Performance Management (FPM) unit specializes in enhancing vessel performance through data-driven insights. Our flagship solution, s-Insight, has emerged as the leading fleet performance solution worldwide, currently serving over 200 customers with a growing fleet of 4,000 vessels. To support our expanding operations, we have established performance centers in Hamburg and Singapore.
As an integral part of StormGeo's Chief Operating Officer (COO) structure, the FPM department plays a vital role within the operations and customer service pillar. We are committed to delivering top-notch service and operational excellence to our valued clients.
Main Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of the Vice President (VP) is to ensure the effective delivery of operations and service within the vertical, while also contributing to the long-term strategic plan that differentiates us from the competition. This includes identifying and addressing development requirements for new products and services, as well as overseeing the overall performance of the vertical.
- Oversee and optimize the quality and cost of Operations and Customer Service
- Support the sales organization in their revenue optimization and development through effective pricing of the products
- Play a proactive role in the sales process, acting as a Senior Subject Matter Expert for larger customers
- Take on a sponsorship role for key customers, ensuring strong relationships are maintained and revenue opportunities are maximized
- Globally collaborate with the Sales team to drive, manage, and coordinate client as well as prospect engagement and solutions, both externally and internally
- Work closely with product management to secure the product roadmap, including making business cases for additions and changes to the roadmap
- Ensure the delivery of strong quality to customers, encompassing data quality, service delivery, and responsiveness
- Deliver a scalable product that allows us to grow in a profitable manner

- Deep knowledge and insight into the shipping industry and fleet operations
- Great leadership skills and stakeholder management skills
- Effective communication at all levels, primarily in insight-driven solution-selling capabilities
- Analytical, and insightful in anticipating problems and providing solutions
- Excellent business writing and presentation skills
- Relevant master’s degree
