For a friendly, creative and easy-going family living in Berlin Schöneberg, we are looking for a speaker of English (with functional German a plus) to take care for their child (2mo) from Monday to Friday, with some flexibility.

The family is looking for a Nanny to look after their child Monday-Friday within the general hours of 12:00-20:00, exact schedule TBD based on family need and Nanny availability (total hours and exact schedule can be set depending on Nanny preference). Infant First Aid training and experience with babies at this age are both required.

The Nanny will be tasked with childcare duties, facilitating naps, supporting with breastfeeding and taking the child outside for daily walks. Other tasks include engaging in age-appropriate activities as the child progresses, general child-pertaining tidying up, laundry and supporting with sterilizing bottles and pumping parts. You will spend hours with the child at home or outdoors, depending on the weather.

There is some flexibility with the schedule to fit the needs of the Nanny but would like for it to be a fixed long term schedule. Duties include providing a safe and nurturing environment for the child, being proactive in researching and organizing stimulating, age-appropriate activities, preparing healthy meals and providing a nurturing environment to further his development.

The family is looking to build a close, long term relationship with the Nanny. A solid daily routine has been established for the child, the home's atmosphere is calm and the family hope to find an experienced, long term carer to support them in maintaining their systems. The family is playful, have an open communication style and like to spend time outdoors, at the same time they are firm with routines and respectful behaviour.

The family is happy to also contribute towards a travel card.

This is a long-term position from 40 hours per week.

Compensation on offer starts at 3200 EUR gross per month depending on your experience and qualifications (negotiable, together with extra holiday allowance and other perks).

The family are experienced Nanny employers and come highly recommended by Extra Arms.
