For a lovely, easy-going family living in Berlin Mitte/Prenzlauer Berg, very well known to Extra Arms, we are looking for a **speaker of English, German or Swedish** to care for their child (**4mo**) with some flexibility.

The schedule could be decided based on Nanny availability and family need to provide support in the care of their little one, ideally Monday-Friday from 10:00-18:00 (total hours and exact schedule can be set depending on Nanny preference).

The Nanny's duties will be general baby care, supporting Mom while she continues to breastfeed, taking the baby outside for walks, introducing solid foods when appropriate and supporting with light child-pertaining housekeeping when possible.

The Nanny will be tasked with childcare duties, facilitating naps, supporting with accompany the child to outings to the playground or to activities or have fun together at home with engaging play opportunities.

You will spend hours with the child at home or outdoors, depending on the weather. The position will be a mixture of sole charge and shared care, and the family is open to discuss strategies with the nanny as well as take things slowly in the adaptation stages to make sure all are happy. Infant experience required.

There is some flexibility with the schedule to fit the needs of the Nanny but would like for it to be a fixed long term schedule. Duties include providing a safe and nurturing environment for the child, being proactive in researching and organizing stimulating, age-appropriate activities, preparing healthy meals and providing a nurturing environment to further his development.

The family is looking to build a close, long term relationship with the Nanny.

A solid daily routine has been established for the child, the home's atmosphere is calm and the family hope to find an experienced, long term carer to support them in maintaining their systems. The family is playful, have an open communication style and like to spend time outdoors, at the same time they are firm with routines and respectful behaviour.

The family is happy to also contribute towards a travel card.

This is a long-term position from **40 hours** per week.

Compensation on offer starts at **3600 EUR gross per month for a contract Nanny** depending on your experience and qualifications (negotiable, together with extra holiday allowance and other perks).
