Want to get first-hand experience in ? We are looking for a Fellow to join our team for a period from 4 to 12 months, in Berlin. Foundamental Fellows will be a part of, working with, our investment team gaining rich, hands-on experience in venture capital covering the Americas, Europe and Asia.

We'll provide you with a structured training program that will put you in a prime position to break into VC. Since our inaugural batch from Q1/2020, many Foundamental fellows landed in permanent VC roles - so far.

Foundamental is the largest global venture investor in construction technology.

We love the bold and bright who strive to make Architecture, Engineering, Construction and Real Estate autonomous and clean through technology. It's about time to rewire its archaic, analogue workflow steps for the digital era.

Tasks

What you'll be doing

You are the first point of contact for founders and manage the deal flow process

You’ll analyse start-ups to propose new investments and support our portfolio companies

Conducting deep due diligence, generating detailed investment memos, financial models and recommendations

Closely supporting entrepreneurs in building enduring companies with strategy, hiring, sales, business development and financial planning

Managing internal tools & processes, including deal pipeline, portfolio performance analytics & internal reporting

We will give you execution responsibility - no paper pushing, no work for the drawer. Period. Your work will have an impact on our organization.
