**Sr. System Administrator (UNIX/Linux)**:
**Full Time Wiesbaden, Germany**:
**SECRET**:
A Senior System Administrator is an IT professional who manages a team of system administrators who monitor the network and computer system infrastructure. This is a supervisor position in which the Senior System Administrator will oversee a team to design and implement network and database solutions for the organization, perform software programming to expand technological capabilities, or troubleshoot network issues and devise solutions.
- Conduct systems analysis, summarizing the data collected into technical documents in a manner that is understood and usable by decision makers
- Maintain system backups
- Establish, monitor, and evaluate effectiveness of logging procedures to meet system security requirements
- Plan, test, and implement upgrades for our information systems
- Manage devices on our network through Active Directory
- Manage user access
- Manage virtualization efforts
- Configure hardware
- Ensure routers and firewalls are working correctly
- Resolve technical issues
- Coordinate with vendors as needed
- Run performance reports

**Qualifications**
- Must be a US Citizen
- Bachelor of Science/Arts Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or Science or Business Administration or Mathematics.
- Bachelor's degree plus three (3) years of specialized experience, or
- an Associate’s degree plus Seven (7) years of specialized experience, or
- a major certification plus seven (7) years of specialized experience, or
- 11 years of specialized experience.
- Specialized Experience: The following experience may be concurrent:

- Four (4) years of experience using and maintaining UNIX or RedHat Systems on “Server Based OS” experience.
- two (2) years direct experience with U.S. military command and control or commercial LAN/WAN communication systems.
- RHCE or RHCSA or RHCA
- DoD 8570.01-M, IA workforce certification: IAT-III Baseline Certification
