Head of Game Design and Monetisation

**Your tasks**:
As **Head of Game Design and Monetisation (f/m/x)** you are pushing the boundaries of game design and monetisation (including our LiveOps content pipeline and AdMonetisation) and support their integration process. You will orchestrate a powerful unit working towards joint business goals and directly report to the CPO. This role requires a unique blend of creativity, strategic thinking, leadership, and an understanding of game design in combination with game economics.

Together with your unit, the respective Product Leads of our groundbreaking strategy games and in cooperation with Marketing, Analytics and Development teams you will drive topline impacting business innovation across mobile apps, web and Steam.

**Leadership & Strategy**:Form a powerful business-oriented unit by overseeing game designers and monetisation managers across all products, enhance team visibility, efficiency and manage P&L.

**Game Design**:Sharpen the vision and game design of our existing and upcoming titles. Drive Bytro's game design to deliver enticing, long-living and marketable games to players while aligning with technical decisions and market trends

**Monetisation**: Enhance ARPU and refine monetisation strategies. Bring our games to match and outperform our top competitors by leveraging the complete player base over their whole lifetime.

**Cross-Functional Collaboration**:Consultation and communication with various stakeholders from inside the team to the CEO. Ensure collaboration across different departments and levels of the organisation to ensure alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
**
Team Development & Management**:Lead and develop a skilled team to efficiently achieve ambitious goals in time. Provide mentorship in methodologies, personal growth and career development.

**Your profile**:

- Several years of experience in a Lead Designer or monetization role, with a proven track record in game development and monetization in the free-to-play mobile game environment.
- Proven understanding of game economics and how to tie it to live ops in a Games as a Service setting."
- A customer-centric mindset with a passion for creating great games and driving sustained growth.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in team development and management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, empathy, emotional intelligence, and understanding of economic processes in gaming.
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset, combined with excellent cross-discipline collaboration abilities.
- Fluent in English, with effective communication and leadership skills.
