**Your responsibilities**:

- Work in our new-product-introduction (NPI) process and drive the product requirements for our RADAR processor family with a focus on the automotive market
- Engage with customers and understand their problems in order to develop innovative solutions and translate customer and market needs into requirements specifications for internal R&D organizations
- Develop the product architecture specification and the electrical specification for next-generation RADAR processors
- Work closely with marketing, SW engineering, product engineering, safety and security architects and other partner teams on architectural specification concepts.
- Collaborate with the design implementation team on the detailed technical solution and oversee the fulfillment of the product requirements
- Define system solutions together with the required peripherals around the processors and support cost optimization as a differentiating factor
- Steer the selection of the right level of processing performance (DSPs, ARM CPUs) based on such KPIs
- Support design win activities with product overviews, IP benchmarks and by responding to customer RFI/RFQs
- Provide inputs for next-generation product & IP roadmap definition (HW and SW)
- Work on proposals for performance improvement, device cost optimization and reduction of power consumption

**Skills**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills spanning technical contributors, business stakeholders, customers, and management
- Comfortable working with the ambiguity inherent in implementing new technologies
- Collaborate within and across distributed teams on next-generation devices and accelerators
- Professional working proficiency in English
- German language is a plus
- Willingness to travel worldwide

Experience
- 5+ years of experience in developing RADAR systems ideally in the automotive domain
- Knowledge of automotive MCU/MPU architectures, bus systems and cores
- Understanding of specific automotive requirements like product reliability, longevity
- Experience in embedded HW/SW co-design
- Familiar with requirements documentation systems such as Doors
- Knowledge of simulation tools (e.g. Matlab or similar) and performance analysis

Education
- Master or Bachelor degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or similar required with an advanced degree
