We are looking for an engaged **Remedy Officer** who brings solid expertise and a passion for FSC’s mission, to work with us in a multinational environment.

**The Scope**

To support ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution) and Remedy Program in FSC System Integrity unit project to manage remedy processes according to the applicable procedures and policies.

**Main Roles and Responsibilities**
- Management of remedy projects, including timelines, contracting and scheduling expert services, processing requests for guidance and interpretations, remedy reporting, and client invoicing according to FSC legal and finance procedures.
- Support in the preparation of remedy related meetings, presentations, and webinars including development of presentations, taking minutes, preparing talking points, and conducting research.
- Support in the coordination of complaints in remedy processes and work with FSC colleagues to provide required information, documentation, and recommendations.
- Support FSC Marketing, FSC Communications, and FSC Value Chain Development to create value propositions and uptake for remedy procedures in line with the FSC Strategic Plan.
- Support FSC colleagues working on fundraising and partnerships around remedy with technical information and expertise on remedy processes, presentation materials, and other relevant information.
- Documentation of guidance and interpretation of remedy procedures: development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), methodologies, and interpretations in the operation and implementation of remedy processes, including lessons learned reports and recommendations for continuous learning and improvements.
- Liaise with remedy applicants and clients and consult with relevant FSC experts and FSC National and Regional Offices.
- Support stakeholder mapping of FSC internal and external stakeholders, keep FSC internal affected stakeholders (FSC National and Regional Offices, CABs, ASI, FSC International staff) informed of remedy process milestones and supporting stakeholder engagement processes.
- Coordinate requests by stakeholders, third party experts, and remedy clients concerning remedy processes.
- Any other task as assigned by formal supervisor and project work as assigned according to special organizational needs.

**Qualification, Experience and Skills**

**Education and Training**: University (Bachelor or Master) degree in a relevant field (e.g., environmental or human rights law, environmental management, international relations, social sciences, or business management).

**Working Experience, Style and Skills**:

- At least 3 years professional experience in work related to the roles and responsibilities of this position (e.g., international relations, ESG, environmental or human rights policy development, compliance management) in international setting.
- Project management experience required.
- Experience in coordinating project contracts or adhering to organizational SOPs.
- Attention to detail and solution-oriented problem solving.
- Collaborative and team-centred approach to working experience with developing client services and value propositions an asset.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Experience with stakeholder engagement is an asset.

**Computer Skills**:Excellent skills in the use of standard software packages (e.g., MS Office incl. MS Project).

**Language and Communication Skills**:

- Exemplary verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive interpersonal relations.
- Facilitation, or facilitated dialogue tools is an asset.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written).
- Fluency in Spanish or French is an asset.

**Terms and Conditions**
- Location: Bonn, Germany.
- Working Hours: Full time - 40 hours per week.
- Starting Date: As soon as possible.
- Travel: Sporadic travel is required.
