**Beds and Bars is a UK based hospitality corporation operating actively all through Europe, including England, Spain, France, the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Scotland and Austria.**

**Your role**:
**As a night porter, your role is very important. You are in charge of making sure the day on the system can be rolled properly (change of day). Here is what needs to be done during this shift.**

**You are responsible for Fire Safety and should have completed the Fire Marshal training.**

**This is part of the To-Do list for your shift.**
- Clean reception area
- Hostel Checks 1am and 3am (tidy chill out room - if needed)
- Allocations control - for the next 7 days - do not put people alone in the room, check blocking chart
- No shows (if a lot check the rooms)
- 3:30am - 4am: do the cash up and roll over the day
- Fill up stock ( padlock, adaptor, towels etc..) - if needed
- Airbnb reviews and messages (back office)
- prepare HK report for the morning shift, check blocking chart and correct the report (check room types) + Make sure you don't change the rate if you are moving someone room
- Clean the breakfast bar (Mondays and Thuraday
- Check the toilets cleanliness before you leave

**Essential requirements**

**You must**:

- **Be eligible or have all necessary documentation in which to be legally employed in the country, which you are based.**
- **All Documentation required by any Local/Regional/National certifying or governing bodies in which to operate legally within you units country**
- **Have a up to date/active bank account in your own name**
- **Be able to converse Fluently in English**
- **Where live in accommodation is not provided. Have a fixed place of residence and live within a reasonable travelling distance of the unit**
