Airbus Aerostructures includes four production sites in Germany: the headquarters in Hamburg with three other plants in Nordenham, Bremen and Stade where work goes on today on the aerostructures of tomorrow's aircraft.

In order to support the Digital Transformation Team, the Airbus Aerostructures GmbH is looking for a

**Digital Project Leader with focus on Data Operations (d/f/m).**

You work in an intercultural team with various competences and challenging tasks to transform the company towards Industry 5.0. The focus is on plant Hamburg and one of the main objectives of the team is to link our strategic mission to digital projects and improvements for the plant Hamburg. Data analytics, data science and software development are essential to make things happen.

**Your location**:
You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Experience the special flair of Hamburg in your spare time where vibrant cosmopolitan culture meets nautic legacy.

**Your tasks and responsibilities**:

- Proactively propose improvement solutions to business and the shopfloor, looking at connecting the strategy to short-mid-long term solutions.
- Lead the implementation of the improvement activities and be the interface between their functions, the IT ecosystem and the requested solution.
- Develop, test, implement and improve the most suitable software or data operations solution

**Desired skills and qualifications**:

- A university degree in an IT related field with previous experience in data operations or software development
- Strong project management skills: understand the overall project management methodology, experience in agile and/or waterfall methodologies
- Communication skills and customer focus are key
- Data analytics, Data science knowledge and experience
- Experience in software development, machine learning is a plus
- A curious mindset with the willingness to drive the transformation, constantly improve and learn
- Ability to understand complex topics, drive simplification
- Business fluent in English & German
