**THE POSITION**

Within the department Pharmaceutical Development, the team Liquids Development at the Biberach site is looking for a Post-doc at the earliest possible date. If you are inspired by working in a highly motivated team on scientific challenges in the area of peptide formulation, new analytical screening methods and emerging technologies (e.g., long-acting injectables (LAI)), but also interested in routine work packages in this area, please join our team.
Our main interfaces within development and research are the departments Analytics, Drug Discovery Sciences (DDS) and Material and Analytical Sciences (MAS). You will significantly contribute to the development of new drugs for challenging New Chemical Entities (NCEs).

**Tasks & responsibilities**
- As Post Doc you will develop concepts for the screening of formulations for synthetic peptides with the aim of generating an overview of the possible formulation options and identifying problems of physical stability at an early stage.
- In addition, you will optimize screening processes with respect to miniaturization and automation including data analysis.
- In your new role, you maintain close contact with colleagues from research and analytics in order to coordinate and further develop your concept.

**Requirements**:

- Doctoral degree in natural sciences in chemistry, pharmacy, biotechnology, or related disciplines
- Experience in the field of parenteral formulation development ideally pharmaceutical peptide drug products is a strong plus
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary and international team of scientists with excellent written and oral communication skills
- Profound knowledge in synthetically produced pharmaceutical peptide drug products with hands-on experience
- Team player with the ability to plan and implement experiments
- Fluent language skills in English are mandatory, German language skills are a plus
