Product Security Officer Health Data Platform

Your Role- The Product Security Officer (PSO) - Health Data Platform (HDP) is a member of the Medical Device Security team at Carl Zeiss Meditec AG and reports directly to the Senior Information Security Manager Digital Products.- The PSO HDP manages, consolidates, prioritizes, and coordinates with the global Senior Information Security Manager (SISM) Digital MED all information security and data protection topics throughout design, development and operation of HDP overall- This includes, amongst others, the phases of initial planning, development as well as further development of ZEISS HDP- Here, he/she (m/w/x) coordinates closely with the respective development teams at the respective sites and, if necessary, also across sites- The PSO HDP ensures that the products themselves, as well as the corresponding development and operating processes, comply with the state of the art, the company's internal information security requirements and the relevant standards, regulations and applicable laws- In addition, the PSO HDP is responsible for bringing the relevant products within the scope of the existing ISO 27001 certification- Furthermore, the PSO HDP, in terms of information security and data protection, is the interface between the respective business unit and the technical implementation in the development units- As such, he/she also represents information security and data protection issues in strategic decisions and coordination on business level- If required by the product, this also applies across sites or internationally for the corresponding product
Your Profile- Certification Bachelor or master’s degree in computer science/engineering or comparable plus additional appropriate cyber security certifications (e.g., CSSLP, CISSP or other appropriate)- At least 5 years in the area of Information Security experience in development projects- Working with cloud na-tive product development teams- Ability to serve as the main point of contact between the enterprise architect and the security engineer and coordinates with system owners, common control providers, and other stakeholders on the allocation of security controls as system-specific, hybrid, or common controls- Skill in determining how a security system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, or the environment will affect these outcomes- Working on enterprise, cloud native projects- Proactive communication skills- Experience in working on an international level- English fluent
