Your Role:
- The Product Security Officer (PSO) Digital Products is a member of the Medical Device Security team at Carl Zeiss Meditec AG and reports directly to the Senior Information Security Manager Digital Products- The PSO Digital Products manages, consolidates, prioritizes, and coordinates with the global Senior Information Security Manager (SISM) Digital MED all information security and data protection topics throughout design, development and operation of HDP overall- This includes, amongst others, the phases of initial planning, development as well as further development of ZEISS digital products- Here, he/she coordinates closely with the respective development teams at the respective sites and, if necessary, also across sites- The PSO Digital Products ensures that the products themselves, as well as the corresponding development and operating processes, com-ply with the state of the art, the company's internal information security requirements and the relevant standards, regulations and applicable laws.- In addition, the PSO Digital Products is responsible for bringing the relevant products within the scope of the existing ISO 27001 certifica-tion if applicable- Furthermore, the PSO Digital Products, in terms of information security and data protection, is the interface between the respective busi-ness unit and the technical implementation in the development unitsAs such, he/she also represents information security and data pro-tection issues in strategic decisions and coordination on business level- If required by the product, this also applies across sites or interna-tionally for the corresponding product.

Your Profile:
**Education**:
- Professional Certification Bachelor or master’s degree in computer science/engineering or comparable plus additional appropriate cyber security certifications (e.g., CSSLP, CISSP or other appropriate)

**Experience**:
- At least 5 years experience in information security and data privacy roles in a development environment (international scope of advantage)- Technical experience in IT-Security- Experience in product development and engineering of advantage

Knowledge / Skills / Other characteristics:
- Ability to serve as the main point of contact between the enterprise architect and the security engineer and coordinates with system owners, common control providers, and other stakeholders on the alloca-tion of security controls as system-specific, hybrid, or common controls- Skill in determining how a security system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, or the environment will affect these outcomes- Working on enterprise, cloud native projects- Proactive communication skills- Experience in working on an international level- English fluent
