**YOUR TASKS**:
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the HR & Recruiting team strategically and support the company through effective practices and the development of employees. The Head of People plays a central role in shaping a positive and productive work culture that drives the company forward.
- **
Strategic HR Planning**: Develop and implement long-term strategies that align with the company's objectives and ensure an optimal workforce structure.
- ** Talent Acquisition and Retention**: Take charge of recruiting tech
- and non-tech experts and implement initiatives to retain and develop existing talent.
- ** Employee Development**: Foster the professional growth of employees through training programs, development opportunities, and individual coaching.
- ** Performance Management**: Introduce and oversee a performance-based evaluation system that promotes employee productivity.
- ** HR Policies and Compliance**: Ensure compliance with labour laws and other regulations, providing guidance to management on HR-related matters.
- ** Team leadership**: Act as guide and mentor to your team members.

**YOUR PROFILE**:

- Professional expertise in the areas of recruiting and HR as well as (initial) experience in a management position; ability to effectively motivate and lead an HR team.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to develop human resource strategies that are in line with overall business objectives.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively interact with management and employees.
- Profound knowledge of German employment law, HR best practices, and awareness of current trends.
- Experience in negotiations, particularly in crafting employment contracts and compensation packages.
- Handle sensitive employee information with care and adhere to high ethical standards.
- Experience with GoogleWorkspace and German language skills are an advantage.
