SENIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER, BU Originals- PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANISATION
- Create market relevant product graphic concepts for the adidas brand as part of an international design team in co-operation with marketing (product management) and development (project management).- Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop creative graphic solutions to concepts. Present the design in context to the category direction.
- Verbally presents graphic ideas and details with clarity in small groups and team meeting
- Ensure efficient process and communication flow between design, marketing and development (within x
- functional team) for all issues regarding your graphics
- Design graphics, select materials and colour for products within apparel range based on the direction from the line manager and in close cooperation with marketing.
- Own the creative process to make sure that the final products meet commercial and image objectives.
- Lead, drive and execute the defined project(s) creatively from vision to execution.
- Create graphic concepts that amplify the Brand and the BU seasonal priorities.
- Ensure good communication to product management and development.
- Translate the business strategies into differentiated and distinctive design language to fulfil customers' expectations.
- Create graphic design concepts for the respective product area and /or the defined project.
- Design graphics (this includes illustrations, typographies, logo graphics, hand sketches, artworks, technical drawings, colour concepts and colorations, story boards )

- KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES- Strong knowledge of graphic design with awareness of the competitive market
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Apparel graphic knowledge / apparel product knowledge
- High level of creativity
- Knowledge and use of Macintosh computer design software/systems (Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- BA or MA in Graphic design or comparable education
- Advanced computer skills on Apple Mac or PC (Adobe Illustrator Photo Shop)

- Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in Graphic design
- Fluent in English
