Summary

For the "Configuration and Data Management (CM / DM)" department, which is part of Quality Management, we are looking for a "Project Responsible for Product Variant and Configuration Management (f/m/d)" at the Ulm site as soon as possible.

The division with its three departments ensures that the CM processes are effectively applied in the project and on the product, taking into account the contractual requirements, and that the project-relevant CM tasks are efficiently completed. This ensures that the project and product goals are achieved within the performance, time, and cost framework with mínimal risk. The employees of the department are assigned to the project core teams throughout the product and project lifecycle. They work closely with the project leaders and product managers and are appointed at the start of the planning phase.

Your Tasks- Definition and specification of KM interfaces (internal and external)- Creation of KM plans in German and English language- Creation of product structures (identification of configuration units and mapping in KM tools)-
- Execution of release boards (RBs)- Creation of baselines and construction status definitions- Implementation of internal and external change management (change control boards)- Creation of evaluations and status presentations- Collaboration in internal and external international project teams- Coordination of subcontractors and customers- Further development of the KM system

Your Profile- Completed studies in the field of industrial engineering or comparable- Experience in project management, configuration management as well as the various KM standards (e.g. ISO 10007, EIA-649 etc.)- Experience in software configuration management and production processes advantageous- Knowledge in SAP PLM (Product Life Cycle Management) as well as Serena Business Manager/Dimensions advantageous- Ability and interpersonal skills to implement or roll out KM requirements- Ability to make presentations to international customers and partners- Ability to work in a team and to compromise, but also assertiveness and initiative as well as negotiation skills with customers and contractors (internal/external)- Fluent German and good English skills
