Wir bieten eine spannende Möglichkeit für einen Process Research & Development Technician am Standort Wiesbaden, Deutschland.

Als Process Research & Development Technician unterstützen Sie die Silikonprozesstechnologien und arbeiten funktionsübergreifend an der Kommerzialisierung von Silikonprodukten und der Entwicklung neuer Prozesstechnologien. Die Stelle ist speziell im Wiesbadener PR&D-Team des Dow Performances Silicone Business angesiedelt.

In dieser Rolle werden Sie mit mehreren Teams zusammenarbeiten, um neue Silikonprodukte für ein breites Spektrum von Anwendungen zu entwickeln: Automobil-, Verbraucher
- und Industrieelektronik. Sie werden für die Prozessentwicklung, Formulierung und Prüfung neuer Produkte verantwortlich sein sowie für die Erfassung und Analyse der Ergebnisse und die Berichterstattung an den Process R&D Engineer. Für diese Rolle sind umfangreiche Erfahrungen und Kenntnisse aller Sicherheitsaspekte, einschließlich Prozesssicherheit, reaktive Chemikalien und Arbeitshygiene, erforderlich.

Aufgaben:

- Sichere Durchführung von genau definierten Experimenten im Labor-, Pilot
- und Anlagenmaßstab
- Durchführung von Labor
- und Pilotversuchen zur Unterstützung der aktuellen und zukünftigen Prozess
- und Produktentwicklung
- Zusammenarbeit mit funktionsübergreifenden Teams zur kosteneffizienten Kommerzialisierung neuer Produkte vom Entwicklungslabor bis zur großtechnischen Herstellung
- Scale-up, Bemusterung und Kommerzialisierung neuer Produkte durch nahtlose Zusammenarbeit mit anderen Gruppen, Geschäftspartnern und Funktionen
- Durchführung von Versuchsplänen zur Unterstützung des Betriebs bei der Qualifizierung von Rohstoffen und zweiten Quellen
- Unterstützung von Ingenieur:innen bei der Erforschung neuer Technologien durch Definition der Fähigkeiten der untersuchten Ausrüstung
- Hochwertige, umfassende und rechtzeitige Dokumentation der Arbeit im elektronischen Laborbuch und in technischen Berichten
- Aufrechterhaltung der Ordnung und Sauberkeit, sowie der Gewährleistung der Einhaltung der Dow-Sicherheitsstandards
- Durchführung von Anwendungstests zur Bestimmung der Qualität neuer Produkte unter Verwendung verschiedener Testmethoden
- Entwicklung neuer Testmethoden für eine höhere Effizienzbewertung
- Einbringen von Ideen zur Verbesserung der Arbeitsabläufe

Qualifikationen:

- Abgeschlossene Ausbildung als Chemielaborant:in, Chemikant:in oder in einem vergleichbaren technologiebezogenen Bereich
- Gute schriftliche und mündliche Kommunikationsfähigkeiten

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen:

- Computerkenntnisse in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Erfahrung im Umgang mit SAP
- Mündliche Kommunikation in Englisch

- Erfahrung im Bereich Silikonformulierung
