Freelance Content Editor

As our Freelance Content Editor, you are responsible for producing and optimizing our in-app content in German to increase user engagement and support our users’ mental well-being.
We are looking for a freelancer with a capacity of ~ 25-40 hours per week, from ~ mid June 2023 to February 2024.
**Your responsibility**:
- Edit, optimize and write our German (if applicable, also English) in-app content in a way that increases user engagement and fosters learning
- Continuously develop and improve our formats further in creative ways to improve our users’ well-being and make our content stick
- Be responsible for adherence to guidelines & all-around consistency of our content
- Collaborate with other freelance writers & translators to produce high-quality content for our users
**You'll be successful with these skills**:
- You have 3+ years of relevant work experience as a Content Writer, Translator, Editor or similar
- You have a very keen eye for detail and outstanding writing and editorial skills in German (English is a plus)
- You’re a skilled, empathetic storyteller that can break down complex topics into easy-to-understand, relatable content
- You know how to develop the best content to foster learning and increase engagement
- You are available 25-40 hours a week from ~ mid June 2023 to February 2024, possibly also for a longer time
- You are a real team-player
- You are well-versed in or highly curious about mental well-being topics
