The DHL SmartSolutions IoT team is part of the global Innovation Center program at DHL, with locations in Cologne/Troisdorf, Singapore, Chicago and even a mobile center moving through the region MEA. Our Innovation Centers engage with customers, partners and our business divisions to explore, develop and showcase logistics trends and solutions for the world of today and tomorrow and leverage the potential of our Group.

**Tasks**:
You will support driving IoT projects from a first idea until the final implementation including aligning stakeholders, developing business cases and managing different parties involved in the design of the solution.

Together with your colleagues you will be responsible for gaining new business as well as keeping and growing existing customers to ensure the growth of DHLs IoT solutions. Overall you will proactively drive the commercial success of the DHL SmartSensor IoT solution portfolio closely developed with the Product Design team.

**Principal Accountabilities**:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with DHL Business units and external customers, both current and potential
- Manage and support Proof-of-Concepts with BUs, scale to large production roll-outs
- Pro-actively sell and market existing DHL SmartSolutions IoT solutions with support of the global SmartSolutions IoT team and drive further development with new innovations
- Identify customer needs and recommend IoT solutions by using industry and technology knowledge
- Manage Innovation projects with DHL business units and customers on new technologies
- Organize and participate in internal presentations and events to showcase innovations and products
- Work closely with marketing, product development and key functional groups to advance initiatives for innovation pipeline filling

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**:

- University degree in IT/Engineering/ Business or equivalent working experience
- Proven Project management skills
- Minimum of 1-2 years' working experience
- First experiences in innovation, product development, or business development
- Great passion customer engagement, technology and connectivity solutions
- Solid knowledge of IoT solutions and the technology IoT ecosystem including hardware, telecommunications and platform systems
- Proven experience in project management
- Solid knowledge in MS Office and project management tools
- Experience on Logistics and Supply Chain Management, esp. with regard to terminology and industry standards an advantage
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Intercultural and customer-centric mindset
- Fluency in English language mandatory
- German language skills desirable
