What's coming up for you?
- Implementation or management of logistics process optimization and cost savings projects (within procurement and distribution logistics)
- Carrying out potential analyses at our customers to identify optimization needs
- International freight purchasing for all modes of transport (focus on road/road) and negotiation of contracts
- Tender management with electronic tendering tools as well as preparation and execution of direct negotiations
- Technical management of analysts, tender managers and logistics consultants in the back office
- Partially independent preparation and evaluation of mass data and optimization of transport strategies with regard to quality and costs
- Preparation of RFQ's (Request for Quotations), SOP's (Standard Operational Procedures) and support in operational implementations
- Preparation and presentation of customer presentations and support of sales activities

What should you bring with you?
- Completed studies with a focus on transport and logistics or comparable long-term professional experience
- Several years of practical experience in purchasing logistics services or in tender management ( >5 years)
- Very good MS Office skills (Excel and Powerpoint)
- Good knowledge of freight tendering tools, especially Ticontract desirable
- Very good English skills, both written and spoken
- Methodological competence
- A seasoned personality and a "consultant gene
- High degree of independence, commitment and a strong ability to work in a team
- Hands-on mentality
- A good sense of humor
