**Computer Vision Expert [M/F/d]**

**Location: Monheim am Rhein
With immediate effect, we are looking to hire a full-time Computer Vision Expert [M/F/d]. The role will be responsible to develop our image analysis solution for our cutting age sub-cellular imaging solution.

The role is based in our office in Monheim am Rhein, Germany but will need to work effectively with other global sites and external partners. This role reports to the Head of Software of the company, based in Monheim am Rhein, Germany.

**Your Tasks
The future of computer vision determines the future of fluorescence imaging. Based on your solid experience in developing software for complex systems, you will work in an agile team to deliver innovative computer vision solutions. You will collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative vision systems meeting the high quality standards. Relying on your solid knowledge and creativity you will find appropriate technical trade-offs to deliver functionality in time. You will work in an environment to create a world leading computer vision solution with the world leading optic suppliers.
**What you should bring:
- **Education**:above-average advanced degree in Mathematics, Informatics, Natural Sciences or Technology
- **Personality and **Working Practice**:you are flexible, creative and pragmatic. You are a team player with analytical thinking. Besides that, you are systematic, efficient and self-responsible, used to work in an agile team.
- **Experience and Knowledge**:broad knowledge in software development including software design and architecture, experience with state of the art software development methods like test driven development and continuous integration, proficient in C++ or python, experience with computer vision(such as OpenCV or scikit-image) or hardware accelerators (e.g. SIMD architectures such as GPUs) is desirable. Knowledge in life science is a plus.
- **Languages**:fluent English
