HR Operations Associate

**JOB DESCRIPTION**
As an HR Operations Associate you will work in partnership with senior management, developing and implementing HR policies and practices that support the delivery of the business objectives, provide a professional HR service across the group and assist with the development and implementation of HR projects and workforce reporting.
**Job summary**:
The Human Resources Employee Digital and Service Experience team provides the full range of local HR operational services during employee life cycle including, but not limited to payroll, employee benefits, onboarding, off-boarding, data management, benefits administration, time and absence tracking.
**Responsibilities**:
- Own complex cases and processes related to employee lifecycle, including Onboarding, Off-boarding, Benefits Administration etc.
- Provide oversight and approval of various processes and working in partnership with colleagues in EMEA to deliver business critical processes. Escalate issues, own follow ups on progress, and provide regular stakeholder updates
- Monitor queries received from employees via various technical channels as well as face to face, coordinating resolution of queries and escalations where needed, supporting resolution of a broad spectrum of queries from both HR partner teams and employees
- Assist with audit preparation, active involvement in external and internal audits
- Manage documentation related to local activities, including update of standard operating procedures for all workstreams, coordination of records management, ensure firm’s requirements are applied in the creation, storage, retention, and destruction of
J.P. Morgan records. Ensure correct filing and retention protocol for both paper and electronic documentation
- Support and ensure risk and control oversight and regulatory reporting obligations and Support the execution of a continuous change agenda of process improvement and simplification activities
- Key metrics and data analysis, reviewing trends and key themes to enable data-driven decisions.
**Required Qualifications, capabilities, and skills**:
- Relevant HR experience, preferably within international matrixed-managed company
- Good working knowledge of German labour laws, regulations, and market practice
- Ability to prioritise and deliver results within agreed targets in a matrixed environment
- Experience of planning and executing projects involving but not limited to the areas of onboarding, off-boarding, benefits, and legal changes
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, and autonomy
- Ability to develop strong partnerships with colleagues across the firm and external partners
- Fluent in English and German
