Since our launch in 2014, we've created, released, and operated technically advanced mobile sports games, played by millions of players. **YOUR ROLE**
As an Expert Gameplay Programmer, you will become a core member of the team in creating new gameplay experiences for GENRE-DEFINING mid/hardcore sports and strategy games for mobile, console, and pc (3rd and 1st person action games) A professional who falls in love with our players and their needs. Someone who looks beyond code and wants to understand the business standing behind the product. Someone who likes to team up with industry veterans to build a new industry standard.
- You will work with the design and art teams to architect, engineer, and implement new features and systems which facilitate the creation of exciting new gameplay experiences.
- You will strive to push the boundaries of the gameplay experience.
- You are self-driven, independent, and disciplined to start and finish the idea.
- You will liaise with multiple departments to create and/or extend our gameplay systems.
- You will be working to strict deadlines and scoping work appropriately to deliver quality.
- You will have to react to design changes and related feedback with thought-out solutions and effective planning to achieve the goals.

**YOUR SKILL SET**
- You have 10+ more years of technical experience in the video game or other software industry.
- You have shipped a title that required various input-driven gameplay mechanics (gamepad/keyboard & mouse/touch).
- You have experience architecting and implementing A.I., character control, pathfinding, multiplayer, or other gameplay-related systems.
- You have experience working with character generation systems with customizable in-game.
- You have experience in prototyping and refining gameplay features.
- You have experience in creating base gameplay systems and tools for the designers to extend.
- You have experience in designing code considering CPU and memory consumption.
- You have experience in good software programming practices.

BIG PLUS
- You can contribute to the design process of gameplay features.
- You have previous First Person Shooter or Third Person Shooter experience.
- You are an avid gamer with a passion for creating a top-quality gameplay experience.

Awesome Prototype is currently transforming into a hybrid remote company, giving the team the opportunity to work from remote as well as in our office in the heart of Berlin. This is giving us the chance, structure, and flexibility to work also with specific top experts, which are not able to move to Berlin.
