**For our company headquarters in Neuwied - near Koblenz - we are looking for a** **Head of Purchasing (M/F/d).**

**Your Tasks**:

- Leading purchasing teams at multiple locations
- Supporting / Driving of savings in purchasing and standardization projects
- Monitoring the key figures and implementing measures to achieve the goals
- Continuous development of the procurement strategy in coordination with the business area organizational units
- Negotiating and concluding contracts with suppliers
- Optimizing purchasing and logistics processes
- Supporting engineering in the procurement of complex units and machines
- Coordination with corporate functions and sister companies on joint projects and purchasing savings

**Your Qualifications**:

- Successfully completed commercial or technical studies
- Several years of experience in leading a purchasing team
- Good technical understanding
- Excellent knowledge of contract drafting
- Fluent written and spoken English skills
- Confident handling of common MS Office programs and SAP
- Willingness to travel
- Entrepreneurial and strategic thinking and acting
- Goal-oriented, negotiation skills and assertiveness
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- High commitment, reliability, independence and flexibility
