As Team Lead Data Engineering (all genders) you lead and inspire a dynamic team of 8 Data Engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment where innovation thrives. You play a pivotal role in flaconi’s success by ensuring that our data platform can scale seamlessly as flaconi grows, handling increasing data volumes while maintaining optimal performance and reliability.

**Your role**:

- You collaborate with the data & analytics leadership to craft a comprehensive long-term data strategy, fostering a culture of #livingdata at flaconi. To this end, you stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies, incorporating relevant advancements into the data engineering process
- You work closely with stakeholders to define project objectives and deliverables, and transform them into actionable requirements for the engineers of the team
- You are responsible for the development and successful implementation of data-driven products on time and within scope, by managing and prioritizing data engineering projects, ensuring adherence to Agile methodologies
- You drive the transition from a classic Data Warehouse approach to a Data Lakehouse, ensuring data accessibility, scalability, and flexibility
- Furthermore, you oversee and enhance the current tech stack, which includes Exasol database, Airflow, Pentaho Data Integration, Python, and Databricks
- You manage AWS resources, including EC2 instances and services relevant to data engineering and data processing

**Your profile**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in leading and managing a team of data engineers
- Strong expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration
- Strong expertise in working with AWS services and infrastructure
- Proficiency in Exasol database, Airflow, Pentaho Data Integration, Python, and Databricks
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management
