We dream of sustainable last-mile logistics. Every day, thousands of packages are delivered to front doors, and no one is home, thousands of delivery vehicles drive through the same streets, and hundreds of people have to go on a scavenger hunt to pick up their online orders. All this causes tons of unnecessary CO2 emissions and costs
At pickshare, we offer a solution that gives package recipients full control over the delivery process. Our platform connects recipients and logistics specialists with the mission to make last-mile logistics convenient and environmentally friendly for everyone.
Tasks
Design and build the services and infrastructure that allow our customers and service partners to efficiently manage parcel delivery and enable every parcel to always find its rightful owner directly and easily - without detours through neighbors and parcel stores Or in other words, you develop and optimize the logic behind our platform ecosystem.
You love collaborating with other developers and disciplines to find solutions to complex problems that are robust, reliable, and clean. You love working in the fast-paced world, where our requirements are constantly changing, and we sometimes have to go into crunch time for important deliverables.

**Requirements**:
- You have good knowledge of common backend technologies (databases/ Mongo DB, REST-API, node.js), as well as in deployment (Heroku)
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to think proactively and prioritize your work
- We have a diverse international team and use English as our working language. You can communicate confidently in English, both orally and in writing - German skills are a plus
- Strong pragmatic approach as well as a positive attitude
- Previous experience in a start-up and knowledge of entrepreneurship methods and strategies are a big plus
