We're looking for an Accountant to join our team This position will provide the opportunity to work with leaders from global accounting and finance organizations with the potential for significant growth and development. Ideally, the
** Accountant **will leverage the experience gained in this role.

**Responsibilities of the Accountant**:

- Preparation of Month End Close on the entity and group level (including general MEC activities as well as special requests for reconciliations etc.)
- Preparation of monthly close package and audit requests
- Work on the preparation of our monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to the German Commercial Code (HGB).
- Improve and develop the booking logic for current business transactions, clarification of balance sheet issues
- Communication with external stakeholders (banks, auditors, tax consultants, etc.)
- Facilitate ad-hoc analysis and projects, as required
- Identify optimization potentials and implement changes consistently to improve the productivity of the processes
- Maintain strong lines of communication and partnership cross-functionally to drive best practices in revenue

**Requirements of the Accountant**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably as an audit assistant or financial accounting consultant in an auditing or accountancy firm and/or experience in the SaaS/software industry
- Comprehensive knowledge of German HGB, US GAAP & IFRS
- Strong analytical skills
- A team player, adept at building relationships across the organization
- Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently to meet challenging deadlines
- Commitment to continuously seeking for opportunities to improve productivity and accuracy
