**About The Role**
We're seeking an Accountant to join us on our mission to build a borderless world. Reporting to the Finance Lead, you will focus on managing and operating a strong financial setup. This role will provide you with the opportunity to develop your skillset and grow into a fully fledged Financial Controller. You will:
- Oversee all accounting operations including Billing, A/R and A/P.
- Conduct month-end closing activities to ensure completeness in accounting.
- Prepare monthly management accounts.
- Coordinate with the external accountants across our entities to prepare monthly and annual tax filings.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis.
- Participate in key finance projects to support the expansion of the business.
- Support in automating our financial processes.
**About You**
Ideally, you have:
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience in preparing monthly management accountants and statutory reporting.
- An analytical and data-driven mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills in English.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, preferably with an understanding of IFRS and US GAAP.
- The ability to take initiative and work autonomously.
- Scale-up or start-up experience is a plus
